I'm Guest Posting!

Today I am leaving Marinkaville and traveling to Debland, where I was invited to do a guest blog post. And I leaped at the opportunity (metaphorically speaking, of course, I wouldn't want to overexert myself). I wrote a post about (shh!) a romance I had before I met Husbandrinka. So please head over there, I'll be waiting for you! and while you're there, check out the rest of Deb's blog--she is hysterical!

I commented over there but I wanted to come here just to tell you how amazing I think you are and wrong you were to let him live

I agree with Bern.

What? No, I haven't gone over and read your post yet. Is that a prerequisite?

Jesus. All these rules. I tell ya.

Oh, and incidentally, the chocolate mousse thing? I'm with ya.

(See? I did go. You have to be careful with me, cos you never know when I'm lying through my goddamned teeth)

Ok well I'm commenting from my phone which rules out tabbed browsing, so I'm gonna push the boat out and commend you for the post before I read it...see you over there

Okay, I know you don't want us to comment on the previous post and I won't actually (except that I teared up).

I find it commendable that you could even close your comments. I'm such a comment whore I want every one I get.

Very funny post over there. Again, I wish I was sitting across from you to witness it in person.

Guest posting scares me. Not yours, but the idea of writing for another blog scares me.

What if I'm not as funny as they are?!?!?

Yeah, I have issues.

And you, as usual, don't disappoint in your guest posts.

Is guest posting like being a stunt double?

Marinka...I'm not a big commenter...mainly because of my own failings at blogging...but I teared up and silently sent you a prayer yesterday after reading your post about your stepson...instead of laughing as I usually do. You're awesome!

i think adonis has it right. next time i go to denny's, i'm going to ask for my salad dressing on the side, then make the waitress stand there while i taste the salad first. THEN i will allow her to add the dressing.

Yeah, I agree with everyone before me. I'm going off to read your guest post now, but I already know it's funny. So, great job!

Also, you made me want to hug you yesterday.

Your blog about your step-son hit home for me. Hubby and I have been together for 13 years, we have 3 children together and he has two teenage sons...the stepchildren have been in my life longer than my kids, but I love them just as much. The BITCH of an ex that my hubby has sent the youngest boy to Florida 2 yrs ago cause he was involved in gangs and drugs...BIG FAT LIAR!!!! He told her and her BF at the time to F off because they weren't nice to oldest boy. THEN she sends oldest boy down here because her NEW BF doesn't want him in his house...ASSHOLE!!! Of course that's not what she told hubby to get him to agree - she just didn't WANT him! BITCH!!!
I DO have a point to my mindless rambling...you'll be JUST fine with your step son, he loves you and you love him. Nuff said...

Quite a post yesterday. Your stepson is lucky to have you and you him. My stepmother didn't like me and I couldn't stand her. My mother died when I was 16 and it hurt so much to not have her in my life anymore and to have the stepmother that didn't like me. You never recover from that and I know you will be a good parent to your husband's son.
